Greetings to all,
Hopefully, this correspondence finds you and your families in good health with good things happening in your life. Often times in this day and age, we need to actively seek the positive in order to see it. We are bombarded with negative news on a daily basis which can sometimes cloud our vision of the things in life which are truly blessings. At least this is how it works in my own simple mind. When one allows less than ideal circumstances to become a dragging anchor, the winds of opportunity cannot optimize your sails of advancement. For those of you who are frequent readers of this page, you know the posted writing is often times far outdated by the current season. Who wants to be reading about Christmas when the snow is rapidly disappearing, and you are turning the clocks ahead ? I apologize for my procrastination, but appreciate your patience and encouragement to "please update." There is a large pile on my desk of things to do, which probably should take precedence today, but I'm taking this overdue task off the list right now. I often times ponder about a new and interesting subject to write about, because redundancy is difficult to avoid. This in turn further secures my anchor that impedes progress. So, I'm applying the advise of a wise man, "Perfect is great,...but Done is better."
From a business standpoint, we have much to grateful for here at FVT&D. Workflow has been decent, and the outlook for the foreseeable future appears to be steadily increasing. Although the general economy and nationwide unemployment percentage are undoubtedly still major concerns, there is definite improvement in the positive direction. I for one, believe that this nation will survive and thrive going forward in spite of, not because of our government's assistance. Challenges abound to be sure, but common sense will hopefully prevail one way or another.
We have completed the installation of our 3rd Hauser CNC Jig Grinder. These ultra precision machines are fully capable of achieving tolerances less than .0001" and we are very excited about the additional capacity we can now provide. Not every job requires this degree of accuracy, but as global demands for faster processing equipment increases, so does the demand for better internal components of this machinery. Finer precision equals faster speed. This is the mainstay of FVT&D. High quality standards of our machines, people, and the products they produce. Granted, it is difficult to grasp exactly what a machine of this nature might do for your application from a picture and description. A picture may be worth a thousand words, but a first hand tour is worth more than a thousand pictures. Therefore, I encourage you to give me call to schedule a visit and investigate how we can help you get an advantage over your competition.
Springtime is a time of new beginnings. The dormancy of Winter's covering is gone and we start the growing process once again. Let's hope for growth in business, relationships, world peace, and Mother Nature. Before you know it, we will be weighing pumpkins. I promise you will hear from me in between time, but don't hesitate to remind me to pull up anchor when you see fit. I would also like to extend an open invitation to anyone who would like to post a letter of their own on this page. Our Christmas Party had a few guest participants this past season, and it definitely improved the entertainment performance. I think the same could happen in this space. Send me your appropriate comments and you may have the floor. It could be fun. Well, until next time, "Thanks" for tuning in. Don't forget to remember the important things in life, pray for the troops, give your family a hug, and think kind thoughts. May the anchor of despair remain on deck, while the winds of opportunity provide us with smooth sailing ahead.
