Who is Adopt-A-Family? 

Adopt-A-Family is a group of employees from Fox Valley Tool & Die who formed a voluntary committee in 1987.  Our idea was to have various fundraising events to raise money for local families and causes.

All employees are asked to submit any cause that they feel is in need of our assistance.  When a person or cause is identified, the information is presented to the committee and submitted for approval and the appropriate means of assistance is granted.

We have been able to help assist many people and causes over the years and we feel fortunate to be able to participate in our community in such a way.

Over the years, the employees have come up with several ways to raise money for the program, ensuring that 100% of the profit goes to the program.  We have monthly cookouts in which the employees volunteer to work, plan, cook, bake and serve.  We have various other fundraising opportunities throughout the year and end with a Christmas Raffle which is entirely made up of donations from our wonderful vendors!   

We have donated over $340,000 since its inception in 1987.
