FROM OUR CEO

Greetings to our Customers, Vendors, and Community.

I have been reflecting recently on Fox Valley Tool and Die’s Quality Policy and what it truly means to our organization.

Something resonated with me after viewing the article shared below on one our Youth Apprentice students at Kaukauna High School.

FVTD has been involved in Youth Apprentice program for decades and I just might be the very first one. I grew up in the shop and my father had me doing small jobs at young age, such as assembly, deburring, and polishing; these small jobs allowed me to grow into bigger opportunities. Today I am very grateful for all the experiences; for they created a foundation that helped me earn my B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and who I am today.

The first line of our Quality Policy “Future of Tomorrow is based on the success of today” really speaks to the responsibility we have as a manufacturer in the community to mentor and develop the youth in our community.

Currently, Fox Valley Tool and Die is working with 10 Youth Apprentice students in High School and 5 Machinist Interns in Technical College.  The Fox Valley area has many organizations that are known world-wide for their impressive machining abilities.  We are more than grateful to give youth in the community the opportunity to learn what manufacturing is and how important it is to the world.

Thank you & God bless,

Mark Tetzlaff, CEO
